Before Patricia Espinosa joined Pro Mujer in Nicaragua, she lived in a dilapidated house with flimsy walls and a dirt floor. A mother of four, Patricia now lives in a cement house and supports herself through the business she started with a loan from Pro Mujer. Pro Mujer provides poor women in Latin America with financial services, healthcare and training. It works with other non-profits like Global Partnerships to develop innovative services. This video was produced by the Inter-American Development Bank and featured on CNNs website on March 13, 2010. www.promujer.org
